LOCAL authority support company XFOR issued 78 Fixed Penalty Notices in the Vale of Glamorgan during the week commencing August 13.
XFOR has been tasked by the Vale Council to help tackle dog fouling and littering incidents in the Vale.
It is taking a zero tolerance approach to environmental crimes, where offenders will be issued with a fixed penalty notice of £75 without warning.
Fixed Penalty Notice offences specifically relate to the Environmental Protection Act (1990), Fouling of Land Act (1996) and Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act (2005).
