TEAMS who have already entered the Ty Hafan "It's a Knock Out" event on Saturday, July 21, at the South Wales Police Sports Ground in Bridgend, have fully embraced the Olympic hype which is sweeping the UK by choosing to represent countries from Australia to the Virgin Islands!

Contact centre staff from AA Insurance Services will be no doubt sporting lederhosen as they represent Austria, and who knows how the fire fighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service will portray the Virgin Islands!

"We are delighted with the way the teams have really entered into the spirit of the Olympics to make this a fun event," said Craig Ananin from Ty Hafan.

Kate Williams of Barclays Bank said: "Ty Hafan is a charity that is particularly close to our hearts at Barclays and we're looking forward to representing Japan and Greece at It's a Knockout.

"We already have our outfits sorted. I just hope we can still manage to get through the tubes and sporting challenges and that our fancy dress doesn't come off in the water!"

There are only a few team places left so don't miss out on the fun. Entry is £100 per team to register for the event with each member asked to raise a minimum of £55 in sponsorship.

All money raised will contribute to ensuring that Ty Hafan can continue providing care and support to the increasing number of children, young people and their families from across Wales, who are being referred to its range of services.

The fun starts at 11am on Saturday, July 21, at Waterton Park, Bridgend. Register at www.tyhafan.org/knockout or contact 029 2067 2060.
