FOUR Barry schoolboys hope to put exam stress aside when they aim for band success in the Swansea regional final of talent competition, the Welsh Factor.

Barry Comprehensive pupils Jack Bloomfield, 16, Edan Edwards, Daniel Saunders and Joel Avaient, all 17, will take to the stage at the Cwmfelin Social Club contest on Wednesday (June 20).

The 6th form students, who formed the group Back To November last autumn, have already gigged in Barry's pubs and their original song - Falling - has proved a top hit on an unsigned acts chart internet site.

The lads, who have also raised £170 for Barry-based charity Karen's Cause and £100 to help fund their school's Sri Lanka 2012 trip, are hoping to be in with a shot at the £500 prize on offer.

If they are successful, it will pave the way to the December Grand final of the competition.

The band can be followed on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, by searching Back To November Music.
