WITH only about six weeks to go until the event, Paul Adamson is calling on runners to don their trainers and shorts and take part in the Cardiff Marathon or Half Marathon to raise money for Barry charity, the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund.
Around 63 people will be representing Team JAM Fund on Sunday, October 15.
Men and women still wishing to enter should log onto www.jamfund.co.uk or phone Paul on 01446 411646 as soon as possible.
The closing date for entries is Tuesday, September 12.
Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund Update l Paul said he would like to formally extend his thanks to everyone who attended the JAM Fund wartime dinner dance in July. "The night was a great success," he said.
l A massive £3,000 has been raised for the fund at a golfing event at Llanishen Golf Club in Cardiff. Paul said: "I'd like to thank David MacCarthy of Dow Corning and everyone who attended that event."
l BARRY Comprehensive School teachers will be strutting their stuff at a fashion show on Wednesday, September 27. The event, which has been organised to raise money for JAM Fund, starts at 7pm at the school, and entry costs £2.50. A free glass of wine is included.
