A TEAM of boys from Barry Comprehensive were asked to represent Cardiff and the Vale at the Welsh Novice Schools Tumble and Vault Championships during November.
They competed against 150 other participants from areas all over Wales who had also been pre-selected from area championships.
The four boys not only won the title "Welsh Novice Under 19's Team Champions" but also had the highest team result of the whole day.
Two of the boys went on to win the top two positions in the under 19's, with Michael Sewell now holding the title of Welsh Novice Tumble and Vault Champion and Ben Sewell finishing in the silver position.
Other team members Martin Adamson and Ben Gjuv also competed finishing with excellent results helping the overall team take the title.
