YOUR favourite news-paper is stepping in to give the town the biggest and brightest Easter Bonnet Parade ever.

The Barry and District News has rushed in to save the Holton Road event after hearing it could be in jeopardy.

For many years, the parade has been organised and funded by Woolworths in Holton Road. But as the competition keeps growing, the store just cannot cope alone with the numbers.

Now thanks to a unique partnership between the News, Woolworths and the Windsor Hotel the Easter Bonnet Parade will be bigger and better.

On Thursday March 28, at 4pm, we are inviting children to take their bonnets to the Windsor Hotel, where there will be a packet of crisps and a drink waiting for them. Then at 4.15pm, the judging will begin.

There are three categories - children between 0 and 3 years, 4 to 7 years and 8 to 11 years. There will be three prizes per group, supplied by Woolworths.

A Cadbury's Creme Egg will be given to every entrant taking an endorsed entry form to Woolworths by 5pm that day.

Our photographer will be there to capture the moment. Reprints can be ordered at just £5 each.

To enter, simply fill in the form below and bring it on the day.

* All children must be accompanied by an adult.
