MAY I express my utter disgust through your letters page at the way Shamrock Buses treat their passengers.
My three friends and myself, all pensioners, had occasion to wait at the specified bus stop at Ninian Park Road on Wednesday afternoon, March 20, in pouring rain (no bus shelter) for the 304 bus to arrive at 4.05pm.
We were all at the bus stop at 3.30pm in plenty of time we thought, but no bus arrived until 5.10pm by which time we were absolutely drenched and very cold.
On complaining to the driver he informed us that particular 4.05pm bus had been taken out of service for that afternoon. It is not the first time this has happened, it is a regular occurrence.
Shamrock definitely do not keep to a timetable (when they do run that is). If they cannot get their act together get off the roads and let some reliable company take over.
I am a very angry passenger.
