SHERYL Crow is back in the UK album charts with C'mon, C'mon, an excellent bit of work with plenty of variation.

It kicks off with Steve McQueen, an energetic track in which fun seeker Crow belts out 'Like Steve McQueen, all I need's a fast machine'.

Current big hit Soak Up The Sun is a bright and happy tune reminiscent of some of the tracks on her album Tuesday Night Music Club. Southern-style You're An Original contains plenty of acoustic guitar and features the excellent Lenny Kravitz on guest vocals.

Safe and Sound is quite a gentle track with a beautiful tune, while title track C'mon, C'mon stars Stevie Nicks on guest vocals and has hints of country rock.

It's So Easy sees Crow supported by Don Henley on guest vocals in this brilliant, soft rock and roll song. Over You has some great lyrics in 'I feel like cherry wine... like Valentines' while funky Lucky Kid features plenty of strong beats.

Diamond Road has a gentle beat and tune, while actress Gwyneth Paltrow proves she can sing as she performs guest vocals on track ten, It's Only Love.

Abilene is a bit heavier than the previous tracks, Hole In My Pocket talks about changing your mind, and Weather Channel sees Emmylou Harris providing guest vocals.

Missing is a beautiful, gentle ballad, while the final track I Want You speeds the album up to an energetic crescendo.

This is a great album which features much variation and plenty of guest vocals. With all the heart and soul that's obviously been put into this album, you can see why Sheryl Crow said: "This album was a three year labour of love".
