The Museum of Welsh Life in St Fagans is hosting a green family fun day on June 29 - and you could travel there on a fabulous new bike.

Called Ecofun, the day promises to be an environmental spectacular and all you have to do to win the prize of a child's mountain bike is read the following and then answer the question at the end.

As well as a super day out, Ecofun is promising visitors a one-off experience with a host of innovative and fresh ideas on how to live a sustainable life.

To add to your enjoyment of the day there is a line-up of musicians from around the world, with salvage sounds, gypsy jazz, bangra and folk.

But that is not all! For the young, and young at heart, there will be nature trails, soil safaris, African drum workshops, axe-racing, face-painting, storytelling, sustainability games and more.

Ecofun will be crammed full of opportunities to learn, watch and to discuss the environment, with workshops, stalls and tours by Oxfam, the RSPB, Track 2000 and the Cardiff Waste Forum, to name a few.

You can also find out how to replenish the garden with organic herbs and plants, fill the kitchen with great organic food and buy those longlife bulbs and fill that compost bin that you've never quite got round to doing.

So put June 29 in your diary now for some great ideas, good music and excellent food. An unbeatable combination for a family day out.

There are also free special buses from central Cardiff and Barry. For further details, contact 029 20 573500.
