CRAZY BEAUTIFUL (12) is a familiar story, where boy meets girl, problems rear their ugly heads, and then it's all okay in the end.
Kirsten Dunst stars as Nicole, the 17-year-old troubled daughter of a wealthy congressman.
Fate steps in when she's doing community service for drink driving, and she meets A-student Carlos (Jay Hernandez).
Their innocent flirtations quickly develop into passionate love, but Nicole's destructive behaviour soon puts Carlos' Navy future in danger.
Will their passion keep them together, or will they bow to parental pressure and split up?
This is an interesting film, which introduced Hernandez as a good face for the future.
But despite great acting from both he and Dunst, the movie is way too boring and crosses no lines that haven't been crossed before.
