THE BARRY Dragons and Millennium Centre Tae Kwon Do Clubs recently held their end-of-season awards evening at the Barry Town Football Club.
All the awards were voted for by the students themselves, so the trophies were much sought-after.
The Dragons awards were as follows: best beginner: Mollie Arbuthnot; most enthusiastic: Tom Farmer; most improved: Jaydine Procope; best achiever: Abigail Palfrey; student of the year, Danny Ryan.
The Millennium awards went to: best beginner: Sion Ford; most enthusiastic: Laurence Fogg; best attendance: Daniel Makin; best achiever: Ben Whitmarsh Knight; student of the year: Morgan Fogg; most improved: Rory Coleman and Sam Sturgess.
A special mention must go to Cameron Davies, who was the only Millennium student to travel to the British Championships and was third in Novice Kata in his first tournament.
