ON Saturday, November 14, the wedding of Capt Noel Charlton (MN) and Lt Commander Jude Terry (RN) took place at St Clement's Parish Church, Jersey.
The bride, daughter of Mrs Margaret Terry and the late Chief Petty Officer Robin Terry (RN) of Jersey, was attended by her sister, Caroline, and two other bridesmaids.
Noel, son of Mr Roger and Mrs Linda Charlton, was formerly a pupil at Romilly Primary School, Barry, and the Bishop of Llandaff High School, Cardiff.
The two best men, Mr Darren Selby and Mr Darren Stewart, and the groom have been friends for 33 years, meeting first at playgroup! The groom's brother, Ceri, acted as usher.
An arch of swords was provided by commanders from the Royal Navy, and the blustery weather only enhanced the nautical theme. The couple have set up home in Portsmouth.
