South Wales Police officers are out and about patrolling on Barry Island this summer.
The PSCOs for Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan are out and about running Operation Elstree, this includes handing out safety bands in case children get separated from their parents.
The safety bands are also available from some of the shops on Barry Island and from the RNLI Lifeguard hut on the promenade.
The officers will be patrolling the coastline frequently as part of Operation Elstree to help keep the communities safe for families and visitors.
