A St Athan site manager has been given an award for quality housebuilding.
Barratt and David Wilson Homes South Wales praised site manager Kurt Patterson, who scooped the Pride in the Job Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) for his work at Parc Fferm Wen development.
Barratt's site managers brought home 89 awards from the prestigious 'Oscars of the housebuilding industry'. For 20th consecutive year, Barratt won more of the awards than any other housebuilder, having garnered more than 1,500 individual accolades.
David Kelland, operations director at Barratt Developments South Wales, said: "These awards recognise only the best new homes and best-managed developments across the country, and we are very proud of our UK record — to have won more awards than any other housebuilder for 20 years in a row is an incredible achievement."
Mr Kelland added: "Every customer who buys a home built by a site manager who has won a Pride in the Job Award can have confidence that their home is of the highest possible quality."
Stressing the quality commitment through the awards, only the top 5 per cent of more than 8,000 NHBC-registered managers made the cut this year.
