A VALE man was sent to prison for an historical sex crime where he incited a child to touch the genitals of a woman and for her to reciprocate the act.

The sick request was made by Clive Williams, of Sycamore Avenue, St Athan, in December 1991 in the town.

Now, Williams has finally been caught and locked up for his crimes after he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates on May 31 facing one charge of inciting a boy under 15 to engage in sexual activity.

It was here Williams, 65, pleaded guilty to the charge, however he was sentenced at crown court.

After Cardiff Crown on June 6, Williams was sent down for two years.

  • Possess an indecent photograph of a child – Category A – between 24 April 2017 and 7 July 2022
  • Distribute an indecent photograph of a child – 12 November 2020
  • Possess an indecent photograph of a child – Category C – between 24 April 2017 and 7 July 2022
  • Possess an indecent photograph of a child – Category B – between 24 April 2017 and 7 July 2022
  • Possess a prohibited image of a child – between 24 April 2017 and 7 July 2022
  • Attempt to cause/incite a boy 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity – 27 December 1991

Williams was also made subject to a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.
