RESIDENTS in Barry were left fuming after they came out their houses to find their cars smashed up.
On April 6, images emerged online of cars left devastated on Colcot Road after a driver allegedly smashed into them.
Police have confirmed they were called to an incident at ten to midnight.
Amazingly, despite the shocking images, no injuries were reported.
Those images show a smashed up blue Ford with its rear-end entirely destroyed.

Another photo shows a man’s work van – a post office van – with a massive gash out its side above the rear wheel.

A resident posted their fury on Facebook, saying “work van parked up on Colcot Road, hit.”
She went on to say incredulously, “this road is supposed to be 20mph!”

Amazingly, the resident revealed this has happened BEFORE, saying it’s the second time in two weeks.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said investigations are on-going, however no arrests have been made.

The police spokesperson said: “South Wales Police were called on Saturday April 6 at 11:50 PM to reports of an RTC on Colcot Road, Barry.
“No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
“Investigations are ongoing and South Wales Police is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information or video footage to make contact quoting ref: 2400111372.”
