A POPULAR Indian takeaway in Barry has been named takeaway of the year
Royal Balti in Vere Street won the award at the Nations Curry Awards.
The multi-award-winning business has already won the Good Food Awards in 2024, and now it has won yet another award.
Owner Muhammad Ahmed said: “Many thanks to all my lovely loyal customers, without your support and nominations we will never reach my goal.
“As a business owner, I feel more and more motivated towards becoming successful because I know behind me are my customers who are always there to support me. So, a big fat thanks you to all my customers.”
The award ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel at Deansgate in Manchester on Monday evening, where Royal Balti was crowned Takeaway of the Year in Wales.
The venue was awarded a five-star hygiene rating on June 14, 2023, and has received good reviews from customers on Trip Advisor.
