HENSOL Castle saw a huge rise in bookings after Gavin and Stacey stars Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman recently visited the distillery in an episode of their new show.

The castle distillery was featured in their hit TV show Billericay to Barry, which saw Alison and Larry have a tour of the distillery and make their own gin.

Since their visit, the castle has seen a 60 per cent rise in bookings overnight compared to last month, with the show putting the distillery firmly on the map for visitors looking for a unique experience.

Steadman and Lamb are best known for their roles as Pam and Michael Shipman on the hit series Gavin and Stacey.

The Distillery, nestled within the historic Grade 1 listed Hensol Castle and surrounded by 650 acres of stunning Welsh countryside, offers an unparalleled craft distillery experience.

Hensol Castle Distillery offers visitors the chance to book their own distillery tour, where they can explore the rich history and modern innovation that characterise the historic venue.

Like Steadman and Lamb visitors can create their own custom gin, the distillery also offers cocktail masterclasses.
