A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a burglary in Barry after several hundred pounds and alcohol were stolen from a cocktail bar.
South Wales Police were called to reports of a break-in at Sorayas cocktails and desserts bar on Holton Road on August 28.
Hundreds of pounds of alcohol and cash were stolen from the till, along with damage done to the shop.
Officers were called to the premises at 2.30 am on yesterday morning (August, 28) with police confirming an arrest had been made.
A Spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police received a report of a break-in at a premise on Holton Road Barry at 2:30 am on 28 August.
“An arrest has been made of a 48-year-old man from Barry, enquiries are ongoing to identify any other potential suspect."
