THE Vale of Glamorgan Council is reaching out to residents to ask their views on life in the county.

The Let's Talk About Life in the Vale survey aims to gather feedback on public services, future priorities, and ways to involve more people in local decision making.

Cllr Ruba Sivagnanam, cabinet member for community engagement, equalities and regulatory services, said: “We are not asking simply how satisfied people are with council services. Instead, we are trying to understand what life is like for people living in the Vale and how public services affect this.

“We are taking this approach so we can develop our services in a way that means they will improve people’s quality of life, and wherever possible address the issues that matter to those who live in the Vale."

The survey is available online at participate.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/lets-talk.

Residents can also respond by post or telephone, and council staff will be present at community events throughout the summer to engage with individuals face to face.

The survey responses will be collected and independently analysed by Data Cymru, with the findings publicly reported.
