A BARRY business is unstoppable - having earned its second award of 2023.

Royal Balti Barry, on Vere Street in Cadoxton, is celebrating another win after earning ‘Takeaway of the year (Wales)’ at the 1st Nation’s Curry Awards 2023.

Run by Oceanic Consulting and sponsored by food2go, the 1st Nation’s Curry Awards celebrate excellence in the curry industry with this year’s ceremony recently taking place in Manchester.

Business owners, Muhammad Ahmed and Niaz Haidari, thanked customers for their continued support, adding:

“Our takeaway has built up a good reputation over the years, because we provide excellent service and maintain our quality."

And the proof is in the pudding – Royal Balti Barry celebrated many successes recently including winning a Good Food Award in the first week of 2023.

The food venue was among nine finalists shortlisted for ‘Indian takeaway of the year’ in the Welsh Asian Food Awards 2022 and was crowned the winner.

Royal Balti Barry was also a finalist for ‘best curry takeaway’ in The Curry Life Awards 2022. It was also rated as the number one takeaway in Barry, as voted by our readers.
