A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

JADE PIRSO, 26, of Tydfil Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 18 months after she pleaded guilty to drink driving with 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Richard Street on July 3.

She was ordered to pay £253 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

JOSHUA TONG KROLL, 25, of Holton Road, Barry, was banned from driving for three years after he pleaded guilty to drug driving with a cocaine derivative in his blood on Heol Trelai, Ely, Cardiff, on February 4.

He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

JOSEPH POWELL, 25, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 12 weeks after he pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order in Barry between June 28 and July 1.

He was ordered to pay a £128 surcharge following his release from prison.

VALERIE ROSEMARY LAMACRAFT, 74, of Lakin Drive, Barry, was ordered to pay £750 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

DEAN MARK WATKINS, of Greenwood Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 24 months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

GEORGE CUMMINS, 45, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

BRANDON DAVIES, 19, of Skathemuir Road, Tremorfa, Cardiff, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he admitted driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis in Barry on May 4.

He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for 15 months and must pay £525 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

SIMON JOHN PURCIGO, 37, of Guthrie Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £365 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he admitted stealing £300 worth of decking in Penarth on July 2.

CHRISTOPHER JOHN JARMAN, 53, of Manorbier Court, Barry, was ordered to pay £154 in a fine and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Marloes Close on May 25.
