AN APPEAL has been made for people to help re-open a community's vital post office.
The Rhoose branch of the Post Office has closed temporarily due to staffing issues, which means anyone in the village needing to use the facilities must travel to St Athan.
Post Office bosses have confirmed they are looking for staff so that they can reopen the branch as soon as possible.

Andrew RT Davies, MS for South Wales Central, has urged anyone who is able to help to get in contact so that the branch can be reopened.
He said: “Post Offices provide vital services in our communities. And the people of Rhoose are feeling the impacts of the branch closure.
“It’s vital the service is restored as soon as possible, and I’ve raised concerns with Post Office bosses.
“They’ve confirmed they’re looking for temporary staff. So, if this is something you’d be interested in, please get in touch.”
