PUBLIC Health Wales’ latest data includes 159 newly reported cases of Covid and 12 Covid-related deaths.

The latest Covid data from Public Health Wales reflects a 24-hour period from 9am on Thursday (April 21) to 9am on Friday (April 22).

None of the 12 Covid-related deaths includes in Public Health Wales data occurred in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB).

According to Public Health Wales there have been eight Covid-related deaths in Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, two in Hywel Dda UHB, one in Aneurin Bevan UHB, and one in Betsi Cadwaladr.

Public Health Wales’ death toll, throughout the entire coronavirus pandemic, now stands at 7,324 which includes 942 in Cardiff and Vale UHB and 21 residents outside Wales.

The latest data from Public Health Wales also reports 159 newly reported cases of Covid – six within the Vale of Glamorgan and 17 in Cardiff.
