PUBLIC Health Wales has reported seven Covid-related deaths, including one in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB).

The latest Covid data from Public Health Wales - which reflects a 24-hour period up to 9am on Friday (April 1) - includes 1,485 newly reported cases of Covid (including 98 cases in residents outside Wales) and seven Covid-related deaths.

One of these deaths, according to Public Health Wales, occurred in the Cardiff and Vale UHB.

Public Health Wales’ Covid death toll – throughout the entire Covid pandemic – now stands at 7,179 which includes 935 in Cardiff and Vale UHB and 21 residents outside Wales.

Public Health Wales has also reported 1,387 newly reported cases of coronavirus across Wales – which includes 71 in the Vale of Glamorgan and 139 in Cardiff.
