A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

JOE BROCK, 35, of Atlantic Place, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 96 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Sully on February 25.

He was banned from driving for 24 months, ordered to complete an 18-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £680 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

PAUL ALLT, 48, of Holland Way, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cocaine derivate in his blood in Nottingham on July 5, 2021.

He was ordered to pay £269 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

STEFAN JOHN PETERS, 50, of Westbury Close, Cadoxton, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to racially aggravated intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour at the Vale Family Practice Surgery on July 21, 2021.

He was made the subject of a 16-week curfew between 7pm and 7am, ordered to complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER O'MAHONY, 61, of St John’s Hill, St Athan, was ordered to pay £845 in a fine, compensation, costs and a surcharge after he admitted assaulting a police officer on February 22.

CLAUDIA MANLEY LAMB, 55, of Penmark, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

KARL CLEMENTS, 36, of Fford Pentre, Barry, was ordered to pay £750 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Atlas Road, Cardiff, on January 21.

His driving licence was endorsed with six points.

MARIA WILLIAMS, 36, of Fryatt Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

BRADLEY ROSS WILKINSON, 36, of Kathleen Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £244 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Pearl Street, Cardiff, on January 15.

His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
