TWO more people in the Cardiff and Vale area have died from Covid.
This means that 926 people have died in the area since the beginning of the pandemic.
In all of Wales, the death toll has reached 7,045 people.
The case rate for Covid infections in the Vale of Glamorgan is still fairly high, according to the latest data from Public Health Wales.
There are 76 new cases in the Vale, meaning that there is a rate of 56.9 cases per 100,000 people.
This is the second highest case rate in Wales, with only Blaenau Gwent (75.9) having a higher case rate.
The average case rate for Wales is 46.9 cases per 100,000 people and Cardiff (43.9) has a lower rate despite having the most new cases in Wales with 161.
