A POP choir – with no auditions required – is launching in Barry.
Superchoir, which is already based in other venues across South Wales, welcomes anyone – aged 18 and over – who loves to sing, regardless of experience or vocal ability.
No audition is needed for this beginner’s choir, and all songs – which includes hits from Beyonce, Bowie, Jackie Wilson, Jamiroquai, Take That, Whitney Houston and more - are taught by ear.
Superchoir – which works with individuals and businesses – is run by Emily Tonks and Chloe Cooke, both from South Wales, with the aim of boosting people’s confidence while reducing stress and tension.
When people sing, ‘feel-good’ endorphins are released, improving people’s sense of happiness and wellbeing.
There will be a free taster session at The Mount Rooms Hotel on Tuesday, April 26.
You can book a space at www.wearesuperchoir.com/book-a-taster-session/ or e-mail team@wearesuperchoir.com for more information.
Following this a 10-week term will start in Barry on May 3. Superchoir Barry will be based at The Mount Rooms Hotel on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Membership is £25 per month.
