THE latest stats from Public Health Wales show there are 50 more Covid cases in the Vale but no new deaths.
There have been no new deaths in all of Wales according to the latest stats, meaning the death toll remains at 6,872 for Wales and 913 for the Cardiff and Vale area.
There are 50 more cases recorded in the Vale of Glamorgan and 143 in Cardiff.
In Wales, there are 1,107 new cases including residents outside Wales.
Both the Vale and Cardiff have higher case rates than the average for Wales.
The average for Wales is 33.5 cases per 100,000 people, while the average for the Vale is 37.4.
For Cardiff, the average is 39.
All data is correct as of February 7.
