A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

PAIGE EVANS, 25, of Pendine Close, Barry, was banned from driving for 20 months after she pleaded guilty to drink driving with 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on James Street, Cardiff, on December 12, 2021.

She was ordered to pay £319 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

CRAIG MILLER, 22, of Y Rhodfa, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Cardiff Road on November 18, 2021.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

AJAY NARENDRA PATEL, 36, of Park Crescent, Barry, was ordered to pay £319 in fines, costs and a surcharge after he admitted possession of cocaine and possession of cannabis on March 8, 2021.

DEAN LEWIS, 45, of North Walk, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order in Llantwit Major between December 21 and December 23, 2021.

He was ordered to pay £107 in costs and a surcharge.

KRISTIAN POWELL, 31, of Southey Street, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Claude Road West on October 23, 2021.

He was ordered to pay £354 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

NEIL STUART BACHI, 38, of Broad Street Parade, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on the A17 in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, on August 15, 2019.

He was ordered to pay £660 in a fine and a surcharge.

GRAEME MACKAY, 35, of Cardiff Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
