EMERGENCY services rushed to the rescue yesterday after someone fell "from height".
Barry Coastguard, along with the Llantwit Major team, were paged just after 7pm yesterday (Tuesday, October 27) due to a person who had “fallen from height” at Whitmore Bay in Barry.
The person involved was treated for a suspected back injury and moved to a safe location before being passed into the care of Welsh Ambulance service.
In the event of a coastal emergency people should call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
