PARTS of Penarth are without water after a water main burst overnight.

Welsh Water have said they are aware of a burst water pipe affecting areas of Cogan and surrounding areas of Penarth.

They added: "Until the pipe is fixed, you may experience low pressure or no water.

"We expect all supplies to be fully restored by later this morning."

The burst was reported at 4am and is estimated to be fixed by 11am today.

Due to this all public toilets in Penarth are currently closed, as confirmed by Vale of Glamorgan Council.
