A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

FIONA PRECIOUS, 39, of Llantwit Gardens Close, St Athan, was ordered to pay £2,026 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by contravening a requirement not to participate in a gathering in private on February 6.

KAYLEIGH-JAY DYKE, 28, of Pearce Court Barry, was ordered to pay £259 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she admitted driving without due care and attention on Broad Street and public disorder on June 21.

Her driving record was endorsed with nine points.

KIRSTY DAVIES, 32, of Porthkerry Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

JAMIE MATTHEW ROBERTS, 40, of Claude Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £224 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving when he was using a hand-held mobile telephone on PONTYPRIDD Road on April 2.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

SIMEON RICHARDS, 21, of Deere Place, Ely, Cardiff, was ordered to pay £2,026 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions at Paget Road, Barry, by contravening a requirement not to participate in a gathering in private on February 14.

HOLLY MARKALL, 23, of Camrose Road, Caerau, Cardiff, was ordered to pay £424 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions at Paget Road, Barry, by contravening a requirement not to participate in a gathering in private on February 14.
