Cardiff Bus customers are being alerted to route changes as a result of essential Gas works taking place in Park Crescent, Barry.

From Monday 19 July, Park Crescent will become a one-way system in the direction towards Barry Town Centre for 7 weeks, until Sunday 4 September.

As a result, services 96/96A to Cardiff and 97 and 100 towards Colcot will be diverted. Full details, including locations of temporary alternative bus stops can be found on the Cardiff Bus website.

Gareth Stevens, Commercial Director of Cardiff Bus, reminds customers to plan their journeys before travelling.

He said: “We are set to alter routes in line with the one-way system that will come into effect along Park Crescent, Barry due to the essential Gas works being carried out.

“We will do everything possible to minimise the impact these route changes will have on our customers. The alterations we have put in place are the shortest, and most efficient routes to minimise the disruption caused.

“We apologise for any inconvenience these diversions may cause and we would encourage all our customers to check details before travelling.”
