CORONAVIRUS cases across the Vale of Glamorgan have increased somewhat over the last week.
Most areas in the Vale of Glamorgan have seen a slight increase in the number of coronavirus cases compared with last week’s figures from Public Health Wales.
Their data on cases per local authority, updated each Wednesday, shows that Barry Island and Lower Penarth and Sully have the equivalent number of cases as they did in last week’s report; eight and nine respectively. 
However, these are newly reported cases which means that over two weeks there have been a total of 16 reported cases on Barry Island and 18 reported cases in Lower Penarth and Sully.
Data for Peterston-super-Ely & Wenvoe shows the amount of newly reported cases has doubled this week; there are 18 new cases, compared with nine in the previous week.

OTHER NEWS:

All areas of Vale of Glamorgan - bar Barry Island and Lower Penarth and Sully - have seen a slight increase in cases reported by Public Health Wales when compared with the previous week.
