Nearly three-quarters of adults in the Vale of Glamorgan have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 80,890 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to July 4 – 72% of the area's age group.
They make up part of the 98,489 people who have been given at least one jab – 88% of the over-18 population.
Figures on second doses for each age group in the Vale of Glamorgan show:
•18 to 29 – 4,363 administered (24%)
•30 to 39 – 9,791 administered (55%)
•40 to 49 – 13,117 administered (74%)
•50 to 54 – 8,581 administered (88%)
•55 to 59 – 8,983 administered (90%)
•60 to 64 – 8,377 administered (92%)
•65 to 69 – 7,411 administered (93%)
•70 to 74 – 7,612 administered (95%)
•75 to 79 – 5,549 administered (95%)
•80 and over – 7,106 administered (93%)
Across Wales, 1.7 million people have had both doses, 67% of the over-16 population, and 2.3 million (87%) have had at least one dose.
Vaccinations are being given at 546 locations across Wales, including at 360 GP surgeries, 41 vaccination centres and 35 hospitals.
