A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

JAMES HANCOCK, 45, of Maes-Yr-Ysgol, Barry, was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months, after he admitted being nearly three times the drink drive limit on Jenner Road.

MALAKI PEEL, 19, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, after he pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Barry.

CHRISTOPHER WALLER, 26, of St Catherine's Court, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Ffordd Y Mileniwm.

RHYS SELBY, 31, of Robert Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £244 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 51mph in a 30mph zone in St Nicholas.

ZAC REED, 25, of St Catherine's Court, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

STEPHEN LEE PARRY, 28, of Ramsey Road, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Heritage Drive.
