A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

RYAN LEIGH HARVEY, 29, of Broughton Place, Barry, was jailed for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, after he pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm.

He was ordered to pay his victim £1,000 compensation and a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.

DONNA PEART, 37, of Jewel Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 22 months after she admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

She must complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £220 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

LOURA VENTRICE-PAGE, 35, of Columbus Close, Barry, was banned from driving for six months after she admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

She was ordered to pay £361 in fines, costs and a surcharge.

LUKE ELLIOTT MICHAEL JONES, 30, of Brenig Close, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

DARREN KING, 43, of Clive Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

RAJ KINARA LTD, Fontygary Road, Barry, were ordered to pay £770 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after a guilty plea was entered for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

POPPY STACEY DAVIES, 27, of Northcote Terrace, Barry, was ordered to pay £100 in a fine and costs after she admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment.

ADAM BEER, 31, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £331 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

His driving record was endorsed with seven points.

NATHAN PATRICK MCKERNAN, 36, of Aeron Close, Barry, was ordered to pay £344 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone on Cowbridge Road in St Athan.
