WETHERSPOONS has confirmed that some of their pubs will re-open later this month.

A selection of the chain pubs across Wales - including in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff - will be opening their outdoor gardens from April 26.

Which Wetherspoons pubs will re-open their beer gardens from April 26?

Barry:

The Sir Samuel Romilly pub in Barry will welcome customers back into open its beer garden from Monday April 26.

Pub manager Harry Smith said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back after a long time away.”

Penarth:

A spokesperson for Wetherspoons has confirmed that Penarth’s Wetherspoons – The Bear’s Head - will not re-open on April 26, as it has not got a beer garden.

Cardiff:

Six pubs in Cardiff are to open their patio, roof, and beer gardens from Monday April 26.

The pubs are:

  • The Central Bar, Windsor Place
  • The Ernest Willows, City Road
  • The Gatekeeper, Westgate Street
  • The Aneurin Bevan, Caerphilly Road
  • The Mount Stuart, Stuart Place
  • The Great Western, St Mary Street.

What time will they be open?

  • Mondays: 9am-9pm
  • Tuesdays: 9am-9pm
  • Wednesdays: 9am-9pm
  • Thursdays: 9am-9pm
  • Fridays: 9am-10pm
  • Saturdays: 9am-10pm
  • Sundays: 9am-9pm

Will food be available?

They will offer a slightly reduced menu, which will include: breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, and fish and chips. Food will be available from 9am to 7pm seven days a week.

What else should I know?

The pub will not be operating a booking system. Customers will be able to enter the pub to gain access to the outside area and be able to use the toilet.

NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect Service will be in operation and hand sanitizer available.

Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoon app. Staff will also be able to take orders and payment at the table from those who do not have the app.
