A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

DEAN JAMES HATTER, 29, of Treharne Road, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 12 months after he admitted possession of class C drugs diazepam, flubromazolam and pregabalin.

He was ordered to pay £107 in a surcharge and costs.

SIMON PURCIGO, 36, of Guthrie Street, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to stealing rolls of insulation from LCB Construction in Cardiff.

He must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.

AALAYAH EDWARDS, 23, of Hayes Road, Sully, was banned from driving for six months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

She was ordered to pay £811 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KEITH SIMPSON, 52, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to stealing goods worth £338.92 from Filco Foods in Llantwit Major.

TONY JOHN CRON DELL, 27, of Winston Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

His driving licence was endorsed with six points.

CARLY EVANS, 38, of Barry Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.
