A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
GEORGE CHRISTOPHER HALLAM, 23, of Dock View Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £519 in fines, costs and a surcharge for driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance.
His driving licence was endorsed with eight points.
DAVID BLAKELY KERR, 37, of Broad Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £350 in a fine and costs for failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.

KEVIN COLMAN CUMMINGS, 50, of Harbour Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £200 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone.
His licence was endorsed with three points.
GEMMA SELINA HARFOOT, 38, of Dobbins Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £217 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 49mph in a 40mph zone.
Her licence was endorsed with three points.
KELLY QUINN, 42, of Hayes Road, Sully, was ordered to pay £257 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 46mph in a 40mph zone.
Her licence was endorsed with three points.
DARRYL LYNDON HEWITSON, 54, of Ashby Road, Sully, was ordered to pay £224 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone.
His licence was endorsed with three points.
RICHARD RICHMOND, 43, of Pant Y Celyn Place, St Athan, was ordered to pay £134 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone.
His licence was endorsed with three points.
