A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

BARRIE JON DAWE, 32, of Merthyr Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £832 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he was found guilty of public disorder.

A two-year restraining order prevents him from contacting his victim.

JORDAN PAUL WHITE, 29, of Friars Road, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he admitted assaulting a police officer.

He must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay £495 in costs and a surcharge.

NEIL MALCOLM DIMOND, 47, of Runcorn Close, Barry, was ordered to pay £217 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph in Sully.
