A DISQUALIFIED driver who defied his ban was jailed after being caught behind the wheel by police.

Michael John David, 43, of Main Road, Barry, was sent to prison for 24 weeks at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

By flouting his ban, the defendant was also in breach of a suspended jail sentence for drug-driving in March when he tested positive for amphetamine.
