A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

CHRISTOPHER JAMES REEVES, 29, of College Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug-driving with cannabis in his blood.

He must also pay £304 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

ANTHONY JAMES CLAYPOLE, 38, of Borough Avenue, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus regulations on May 15.

MITCHELL TIMMINS, 33, of Hywel Crescent, Barry, was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to the possession of amphetamine.

ROBERT WILLIAM WOOD, 71, of Victoria Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £223 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving through a red light.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.

DANIEL ADAM BROWN, 38, of Neyland Place, Caerau, Cardiff, was jailed for four months after he pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing spirits from Tesco in Barry on July 30 and July 31.

JONATHAN JAMES CLARK, 32, of York Place, Barry, was ordered to pay £164 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone in Cardiff.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.
