A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

RUSSELL RICHARDSON, 37, of Glanmor Crescent, Barry, was banned from driving for 18 months after he admitted being twice the drink-drive limit.

He was also ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KIERON COOPER, 36, of Lower Holmes Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 17 months and made the subject of a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen.

He must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and was ordered to pay £180 in a fine and surcharge.

CRAIG ROSSER, 58, of Dudley Place, Barry, was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to being in possession of heroin.

JONATHAN MORT, 49, of Ewbank Close, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months for driving without insurance.

He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

GERALD JOSEPH THOMAS, 37, of Main Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £244 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

LOUISA DAY, 23, of Pencoedtre Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £222 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 60mph in a 50mph zone in Bridgend.
