A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

CALLUM ANDERSON, 22, of Hillary Rise, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drug-driving with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood.

He was also ordered to pay £453 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

GLEN FAZLOODIN, 48, of Shakespeare Road, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 18 months and ordered to pay £641 in costs, a fine and a surcharge after he was found guilty after a trial of assault by beating.

DONNA PEART, 37, of Jewel Street, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 12 months after she admitted possession of methadone and the theft of a tub of ice cream and five blocks of cheese worth £15 from B&M.

She must also pay £107 in costs and a surcharge.

MITCHELL CHRISTOPHER TIMMINS, 33, of Hywel Crescent, Barry, was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he admitted possession of cannabis.

ALEXANDRU MACINOI, 31, of Courtenay Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 21 days for speeding at 55mph in a 40mph zone.

He must also pay £217 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

CONOR SEAN MELINN, 27, of Laugharne Court, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance.

He must also pay £219 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

IAN WILLIAMS, 51, of Glenbrook Close, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £107 in costs and a surcharge after he admitted possession of heroin.

JEROME CALLUM THOMAS SHIELDS, 23, of Holton Road, Barry, was fined £40 after he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.

LUKE DEAN PERRY, 27, of Victoria Road, Barry, was fined £40 after he admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.
