BARRY Dock RNLI volunteers responded to reports of swimmers in difficulty off Nell's Point, Barry Island on Sunday, August 2.
The call to help, came from the National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) coastwatch volunteers, based on the headland, at 1.35pm.

A Barry Dock lifeboat spokesman said: "The RNLI inshore lifeboat launched with three crew on board and made best speed to Nell's Point.
"Once on scene the lifeguards from the Vale Life Saving club had already brought the swimmers to shore."
The RNLI is appealing for charitable donations to assist its work.
