THE former owner of a Barry convenience store has celebrated her 100th birthday.

Joy Mills, with her husband Harry, owned the Park Parlour, in Park Crescent, in the west end of the town.

The occasion was marked at her home in Bournemouth where she has lived since leaving Barry to be near her family.
