THE former owner of a Barry convenience store has celebrated her 100th birthday.
Joy Mills, with her husband Harry, owned the Park Parlour, in Park Crescent, in the west end of the town.
The occasion was marked at her home in Bournemouth where she has lived since leaving Barry to be near her family.

Mrs Mills was joined, for her birthday celebration, on June 15, by her daughters, Jocelyn and Anne - together with her grandchildren, albeit at a safe distance due to the ongoing pandemic.
Her Majesty, The Queen was able to stand closer!
Mrs Mills sends best wishes to the customers who came to their shop in Park Crescent all those years ago.
