THE Barry Dock RNLI all-weather lifeboat launched on service at 4pm on Thursday, July 23.
It followed reports that a yacht, with four people and a cat on board, had lost power and was in difficulty.
The yacht was reported to be drifting in poor visibility mid channel between Foreland Point and Porthcawl.
Once the yacht was located, a crew member was transferred to the casualty vessel to assist the exhausted crew.
