EMERGENCY services were called to Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, after a man fell 15ft off a wall onto a concrete ledge and sand.
Barry Coastguard brought the man to safety from the Eastern Shelter at around after 5.20pm on Thursday, June 25.
The man was treated until Wales Air Ambulance, ambulance, and police officers arrived.

A Barry Coastguard spokesman said: “Please take extra care at any coastal area.
“Please remember to stay hydrated and aware of your surroundings.”
